Suitable for use in hot and cold water distribution systems in residential and commercial plumbing applications. ZurnPEX non-barrier tubing can be used in heating systems where there are no ferrous metal parts used or where the ferrous metals are isolated from the tubing with a corrosion resistant heat exchanger or other means. Tubing is cross-linked high density polyethylene. Used for cold water service, potable water systems, underground fluid distribution, anywhere that hot or cold fluid distribution is needed (within the temperature and pressure limitations), fiber optic cable distribution, water distribution piping to manifolds, hydronic coils in air handlers, etc, residential, commercial, and industrial radiant floor/wall/ceiling heating, snow and ice melt systems, soil conditioning in greenhouse/stadium applications, hot water baseboard heating distributions, and radiant cooling, Pressure Ratings: 160 PSI (11 BAR) at 73 degrees F (23 degrees C.), 100 PSI (7 BAR) at 180 degrees F. (82 degrees C.), 80 PSI (5.5 BAR) at 200 degrees F (93.3 degrees C). Complies with ASTM F-876/F-877, CSA B137.5, and ANSI/NSF 61.
