Customer ReviewsReviewed on 2008-07-23 Atari resorted to lying Pay no attention to Atari's ad about the game. It says that it has new monsters when in fact it only has one new monster for the PS2. The new monster is of course just a different skin of Orga, same moves and everything. I want to get my money back from Atari for false advertising the game. I had to do deep research to find out that the game had the same monsters as "Godzilla, save the earth." However, it does in fact have different monsters for the Wii, but it doesn't say anywhere that the monsters are just the same as all the other games for the PS2 and no new ones. I am not going to discuss graphics because they are not even near acceptable. This game, for the PS2, is a failure!!!

Monsters that I can find on "Save the earth"----A | | Reviewed on 2008-07-15 What a Rip-Off!!!!!! How come the Wii system gets all of the new characters? Don't we, the gamers of the Playstation 2, deserve these characters too!!!? I think we should get a petition on Pipeworks and Atari and make them give us gamers ALL of the monster characters from the Wii system and more in the next game! WE WANT THE PLAYING TO BE LIKE SAVE THE EARTH!!!!!!! That means no slow movements, the ability to throw buliding and opponents, and we want the power ups back!!!!
This game is a piece of junk! We only get Obsidius (who is a reskining of Orga!) and Battra (who is a reskining of Mothra!!!) A lot of us fans can't aford the expensive Wii System and I AM NOT GOING TO BUY A NEW GAME SYSTEM JUST TO PLAY ONE GAME!!! We the fans of Godzilla and the fans of video games need to band together and get a petition on those creeps who cheated us out and make sure the next time we get what we want!!!!
Lets ban together and create a great godzilla game with all of the characters that we rightfully deserve! Who's with me?!! | | Reviewed on 2008-01-25 Godzilla Unleashed review I primarily bought this game cause huge godzilla fan. The game is pretty much the same as godzilla save the earth. Plus the added two monsters. Unfortunately it lost a lot of the challenges and mini games the previous game had. And some of the levels you can win with out actually fighting any of the monsters. So the dynamics and story line are definatly not as good as Godzilla save the earth. I think regardless I would of still bought it just cause new godzilla game to play. But I would of waited to buy it alot cheaper. | | Reviewed on 2007-12-29 Godzilla Unleashed My son is crazy for this game. He has that rocker chair and the music comes out of the speakers. Holy cow are these kids lucky.... | | Reviewed on 2007-12-27 Godzilla at his best Once the game finally arrived, we had been waiting it seemed forever for it to be released and then delivered, it was MUCH better than we had expected. The characters (there could have been more of them and a few have only a few moves) are much more fluid in their movements than the previous games, the graphics are awesome compared to the previous games and the story line actually makes more sense than most. There are no cumbersome "movies" for the story line which was a little odd at first but then it may have taken away from the fluidity of the actual "play". We really enjoy this game and can honestly say the only draw-back is that they chose to have some different monsters in the other versions - I feel they should be uniform. My 20 year old son and I love this game! - dates me a bit there hehehe. | |
