| Product DescriptionAttwood V-Series Bilge Pumps are designed for dependability, longevity, and convenience. The permanent magnet motor features a 316 stainless steel shaft for corrosion resistance and uses composite brushes and permanently-lubricated bearings for longer life. Heavy-duty 16-gauge caulked wire leads prevent water from traveling up through the insulation jacket to drown the motor. The tab-twist-lock construction allow the powerhead to be easily removed for cleaning and maintenance without hose removal, and the angled hose outlet can be mounted in 3 different positions on the mounting bracket for easy hose routing. A bleeder hole in the volute chamber prevents airlock and circulates water around the motor for cooling. Available in five models to fill the needs of any recreational bilge, from the compact V-500 to the big, powerful V-1250. - 316 stainless steel shaft
