Reviewed on 2007-06-15Not horrible for rear surrounds, but definintely not main speakers Got these to round out our surround system from a 3.1 to a 5.1. I bought them because I love our BIC America DV62si Bookshelf Speakers so much, but just because these are made by the same manufacturer, don't expect the same sonic quality. I had to use them as temporary main speakers for a week and they were weak and boxy sounding (I know, what can one expect from speakers at this price). At any rate, I just got them set up as my rear surrounds and they work just fine for rear channel fill-in sound. Installation was a snap, thanks to the bracket on the back and the ability to convert my system to a 6.1 system by adding one more of these is enticing. Overall, worth the money, but you get what you pay for.
