The FSW-1609/2409/3209TFX (16/24/32-port) 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet
switches offer slight variations that provide you with the model
that is most suited to the individual demands of your current
networking requirements. The future of your network is also taken
into account with the optional MDU-0122FXT 100 Mbps ST and the
MDU-0123FXC 100 Mbps SC fiber modules. They provide multimode
fiber-optic cabling that will handle high-speed transmission paths
in your network, and allow for easy and cost-effective expansion.
Conforming to the IEEE802.3 10Base-T, IEE802.3u 100Base-TX, and
100Base-FX (modules) the FSW-1609/2409/3209TFX provides a network
data transfer rate up to 200 Mbps using the CSMA/CD protocol.
Utilizing store-and-forward packet-forwarding techniques the
FSW-1609/2409/3209TFX stores the incoming frame in an internal
buffer where it is checked for errors before transmission, thereby
preventing error packets from occurring. The result is a highly
efficient and stable network.
