The Data Express DE100 is a steel-constructed removable drive
enclosure for mounting 3.5" form factor, half-height (1.6") or low-
profile (1") SCSI or Parallel ATA (PATA, or IDE) drives into 5.25"
half-height peripheral bays. All Data Express models feature a
front-accessible key lock which secures the removable carrier
within the receiving frame.

Hot Swappability
Provides operational flexibility in Windows environments by allowing
drive carriers to be removed while the system is powered up.
"Soft Start" Circuitry
Assures data integrity by eliminating in-rush current during spin-up
