The RPS provides a simple and economical solution for providing a backup power source
for up to eight C2 Series Ethernet switch devices. PSM continuously monitors the internal power supply of the switch device. If a power interruption is detected, the PSM is automatically triggered to provide power for the switch device, preventing an interruption in network traffic. The end result is a more reliable network infrastructure, protecting the network from a single source of failure from a network device power supply.
