Cut the cord. Get a batt.
This is a great option to purchase. I is a little pricey, but well worth it. You can find it for less than $100. It is very nice on the road, just take it out of your bag and turn it on. It's even better if you have infared on your laptop, no wires at all. It has good battery life, I use it a few times a week in the field; I have charge it about once a month. A must have......
Why would you want to carry the AC adapter around with your new hi-tech printer?
The battery does have a lighted indicator to tell how much power is left.
Get the battery and leave the power brick at home.

Portable Power

Convenient accessory
I bought this battery for my Pixma iP90v portable printer. At first, I had a nagging hunch that I was just indulging my inner geek, but I was recently at a lease signing at a house with no electricity. This battery allowed me to use the iP90v to print off digital photos of damage left by previous tenants on the spot.
It didn't take very long to charge up fully, and installation is a very simple matter of plugging it into the back of the printer and then turning 2 screws to secure it in place. The printer's regular AC adapter then plugs into the battery afterwards. | |
