Reviewed on 2008-02-18Perfect phone for my needs this is a quality phone and is not overloaded with complicated and useless features. Does what I wanted.
Reviewed on 2007-07-19Okay phone but missing some critical features I bought this phone for an elderly relative who is both hard of hearing and has memory issues. While the phone does amplify adequately, it requires you to push a boost button every time you receive a call in order to turn on the amplification. This was not acceptable in our situation nor was it mentioned in the description of the product. I called the manufacturer and they told me that their higher end models have an override capability in which you can leave the amplification on permanently. This phone also does not have any speed dial buttons. I had to return this phone and get a different model.
Reviewed on 2007-06-19Pros & Cons Pros: Great for elderly - loud ring, large loud buttons, light flashes when rings, amplifies incoming sound, hangs on wall in kitchen (minimal space), easy to use, person on other end can hear you perfectly
Cons: There's a bit of an echo or something (probably with all that amplification) that you hear a bit of yourself. My parents say it's ok, but I want them to have a great phone. They love the other features.... so it's kind of a toss up...
