Reviewed on 2008-02-08 Great Product I purchased Intellimover after getting a new computer for Christmas to transfer all of my music files, word documents, and settings. I was skeptical and worried that the information would be lost from both computers, but I didn't want to have to use a flash drive to move everything over, so I tried it anyway. I was very impressed. The program made copies of everything on my old computer and put the files exactly where they needed to go on the new one. It was easy to use; it walks you through each step, and at one point before I actually started moving everything and wanted to be sure, I called technical support and they explained exactly what I needed to do in terms that were easy for a computer-illiterate person to understand. Everything moved over, and in only 20 minutes - a relatively short time, considering how much I moved. This is a great product that I would recommend to anyone.

Reviewed on 2007-10-01 akward and ineffective Didn't move everything, changed dates and important information. Was next to impossible to load and then even harder to link and cross-load. Don't bother with this one!!!

Reviewed on 2007-07-21 Not worth the money spent. I really had problems with this program. It did not move my address book for MS Mail or my favorites and these were the most important files for me. I would not reccomend this program to anyone, I'd try to talk people out of buying it.

Reviewed on 2006-06-07 Great success! Well my experience was better then expected from the other posts. I also purchased my product from Dell and explained the multitude of files and user data I had accumulated over 7 years of using this computer to my sales person. She recommended the Intellimover product and told me she has used it and recommended it to her family. I thought that was a pretty strong recommendation so I got the 3.7 version. I was totally impressed! I have a son with medical problems and have done tons of research to help us with therapy, medicine, food alergies, diet constraints and all of the research I have accumulated between websites, PDF files, word documents, internet favorites, office Documents for presentations and research I can not replace. All of this came over to my new machine. All the pictures and wallpaper photo settings of my family, Music I listen too, tax records, state documents, everything came over and returned to the identical folders and locations. My new machine looks and works like my old machine, except the new machine works. I used the USB cable provided and it took over 3 hours but we left for dinner and it completed after we returned and then an integration step took quite a while also, but well worth the wait. I highly recommend this product.

Reviewed on 2005-12-28 Works Well When I purchased a new Dell computer system back in April of 2005, I was originally going to use blank CD-RW dics to transport all of my music, photos, and videos to the new sytem from my old one. I actually started this time-consuming process, but when I was ordering a cable for my printer I found out about the IntelliMover software and went ahead and ordered it. It was easy to set up. It took a while (20 minutes or so) but that's nothing compared to taking days or weeks putting and uploading files on CD-RW discs. There were no errors, the software pretty much walked you through the entire process, and even the person with little computer knowledge could run this program. Overall, I was very satisfied with the product, and I would definitely reccomend it to any one.
