wonderful little gem
a nifty, twisty little movie with a terrific performance by Joanna Kerns, best know as the mom on "Growing Pains" - but there is nothing warm or fuzzy about her mom in this film - wonderful sense of place & time - i was really happy to see this come out on DVD - watched it as soon as it arrived in the mail & was overjoyed that it was as good as i remembered it being when i caught it on tv so many years ago |  | Reviewed on 2007-07-16 
A Little let down
I cought part of this movie on Lifetime years ago and caught what I thought was a hot love scene with Joanna kerns. Thinking that the DVD would be less tame as what was aired, I bought it.
Sadly, Mrs. Seaver exposes nothing and there are only three love scenes all of which are forgettable.
The concept intrigued me, a mother and daughter vieing for the same man. However the plot became too much when they tried to add in a murder twist.
The "night man's" character made absolutely no sense, he decides to skip town because the mother and daughter are too much for him to deal with. Come on! You have two gorgeous women throwing themselves at you, and its too much? Sickening.
Wasn't quite what I was expecting, but hey it was on Lifetime so I guess that was my mistake. Oh well it was only $5. | |
