Sturdy, but annoying
The controller is sturdy, and the paddles have the perfect tension in the springs. It's just the right weight and size for my hands and most of the buttons are in the right place. However, the "back" and "start" buttons are placed between the D-pad and the right joystick. This is annoying as they are traditionally placed to the left of the D-pad and below the left joystick.
Below the left joystick (if you look at the picture), you will notice "turbo" and "clear" buttons, where usually you would find the "back" and "start" buttons. Since the product I received came with no manual (but plenty of advertisements), I don't know how to use them. I started using the controller today, so I guess I'll get used to reaching in a new place for "start" and "back", eventually.
Aside from the button placement, this controller has a really nice feel and looks better out of the box than in the picture. If you don't use "start" or "back", buy it. |  | Reviewed on 2008-02-21
Excellent controller
Although Dreamgear makes this controller, it is an excellent and sturdy controller. I used it at my friends house numerous times and was so pleased I just ordered 2 of them, due to my other controllers breaking. I like them. The precision is excellent and they work great and are pretty sturdy. | |
