Reviewed on 2008-02-14 Beat Tiger Woods of them all! I really liked the '04 T.W. game, but the '05 is a little more fun! Better courses and more options to upgrade my player.

Reviewed on 2008-01-07 Challenging The first few matches are decieving in this game. I won them easily but as I progressed the matches became much more challenging. I am presently stuck but it is fun being there. Great game.

Reviewed on 2005-09-09 Alcohol and Tiger woods - the greatest duo since Lennon and McCartney Tiger, Tiger Tiger... This game is somewhat of a letdown? I mean - there is so much more to the game that we don't get to experience... where is the Phil "I have man boobs" Mickelson getting up tiger for not having the best equipment... Where is Tigers smokingly hot wife? Where is john Daley throwing down a six pack before the third tee? Where is the option to use the broomstick putter? I mean - come on EA - give me 30 minutes with your design team and we will have much more realistic golf game. If I had my way - I would have player commentary... I know they are professionals - but when you shank the ball - you let out one of 300 expletives... this needs to be in the game. "But they are professionals - they would not do that". Please - they are human - and they swear. How funny would it be for tiger to let out a few curse words when his three iron sends the ball into the brush?... Let me answer for you... VERY! There should be a "cough" button to hit whenever you opponent has a pressure shot. Another thing would be able to walk through the line of the guys lining up the putt. How fun would it be to able to get tiger to perform the old "foot wedge" out of the rough? Let me answer for you... VERY!. That being said - the game was a joy to play with my friends James "the Aussie" and Joe "I break things". Yes we played against each other - yes you had to have a shot when you lost the hole and - yes our game got worse. Two things about Australians I didn't know that this game taught me... Australians can drink and two - Australians don't like going to the bathroom when the game is on the line. Two things I learnt about Joe from this game - he pees more than any person alive and two - HE PEES MORE THAN ANY PERSON ALIVE. I mean - we are drinking the same amount pal - how about you grow a bladder? GREAT IDEA - have a "Drinking Game" option where you set the rules for the game. Ie "Drink when hitting into water", "opponent drinks when you hit 30+ foot putt", "three drinks for a hole in one". Then when you play the game... Tiger comes up whenever a drinking infringement occurs and goes "DRIIIIIIIINK B*TCH" or something like that. How good would that be? Let me answer for you... VERY!. Anyway - back to the game... it is fun to play - even better with Alcohol - even better with two different nationalities. I know this was helpful to you all - including the EA people who should read these reviews. So may all your drives be long, your irons sweet and your putts lucky. PS. Get this game - it is lovely. PPS. Joe - get a liver.

Reviewed on 2005-07-16 Great game just too easy Tiger Woods 2005 is a lot of fun. I had the 2003 version and this was a big upgrade. The game would be ever funner if it wasn't quite so easy.It is kind of stupid too play in a PGA Tour event and shoot 85 under par while the second place guy is at -6.

Reviewed on 2005-04-20 Tiger Woods y'all......it's all good y'all Having bought and played the EA Sports Tiger Woods series since it came out I have a pretty good idea of what is to be expected. I loved TW 2004 and played that game until the disc starting smoking and caught on fire. For all the people who want to buy a golf game and don't have TW 2004 you should buy this game especially since you can buy 2005 for thirty bucks now. If you have 2004 and also have Xbox live you should buy 2005 since the online play is great. If you don't have Xbox live I will break down what I like and dislike about the game. What I like about TW 2005 - First of all the basic controls are the same and gameplay is almost exactly the same - they did add Tiger vision but I will get back to that later. The graphics are similar and the courses are similar. There are more golfers to choose from - and I am very excited that Natalie Gulbis is added again this year because she is beautiful and she adds alot to the LPGA tour. There are better clothes this year, and more sponsorships are available in your PGA tour season. Also they added Tiger-proofing, I haven't really gotten really in depth into that so I can't say to much about it but it looks pretty cool. What I dislike about TW 2005 - There is basically one thing. The game is too easy. This is where the Tiger-vision comes into play - there is no skill in putting now. They should make the Legends harder. The PGA tour season is too easy. The first tournament I finished 70 strokes ahead of the next person. Other than this I really love this game. I do have one minor complaint. Some of the "fictional" courses have illegal holes. If it is humanly impossible to reach the green in four stokes on a par five that is an illegal hole. I think there is one hole that is a par four and its impossible to reach the green in three strokes too. These are stupid complaints though. Basically I bought this game because I love the EA Sports Tiger Woods series, if you do as well.....Hurry and buy this game!!
