Customer ReviewsReviewed on 2008-01-30 Good screen / so-so mechanics I've had this screen for over 2 months now. I have to admit, at first, the mechanics are a little tricky. I rarely roll the screen up, so the so-so mechanics don't bother me. With that being said, the screen does get easier to raise the more you do it. After 2 months use and only about 6 times needing to put the screen up, my screen goes up no problem.
So here's my $0.02; if you need a screen to go up and down all the time, or at least regularly, spend the extra $300 and get an electric screen. If you absolutely can't fork out the 4 to $500 for an electric screen, this is a great value screen. Just be patient when you first get the screen. Mine is now very easy to operate.
The folks at Elite are great about answering the phone. I must have called 4 times before purchasing and someone answered the phone everytime I called. If you have a decent projector, all you need is the traditional matt white screen. This price will be hard to beat. | | Reviewed on 2008-01-01 Waves I bought this screen about a week ago and right out of the box the bottom half of the screen had several big waves. It looks even worse now, with more ripples formed. In still scenes it seems ok but in slow moving scenes the effects of the waves are awful. The bottom of the screen is stapled to some thin pressed wood material.
The screen is very cheap but I think I got what I paid for it. I wouldn't recommend this product. | | Reviewed on 2007-12-27 Did not even get it up on the wall before it failed!!!!!!!!!!! As we lifted the screen up on to the wall, the screen unrolled all the way and that was the end of that! It will simply not retract! What a horrible purchase! | | Reviewed on 2007-12-18 Excellent Economy Screen This is a 16:9 screen in a black housing. I really like the black housing. The only thing I can say negative about it is that it is hard to get it to go back up from time to time. I really can't complain though because it is so inexpensive. I would recommend for the money, | | Reviewed on 2006-12-29 A poor quality product After one year using in my home the internal system pull-down was broken. Its a poor little plastic piece less than $1.00 value. If you contact ELITE screen manufacture they ask you have to buy a new one because they don`t sell the plastic piece. Really a poor product, poor after sale attention. After all for a $100.00 price cost What we can receive ???? | |
