Reviewed on 2008-02-29 Not Satisfied I am not a hard person to satisfy, but I just had to share my experience on this product with others as no reviews existed when I purchased the item. When I initially installed the device, it had problems with the DVD player and the TV screen would go out after about 10 minutes of constant use. With a 30 day limited warranty, we paid to ship it back and got another ... no problem there. This one was much better, but it has this annoying issue that when you turn the TV on you need to change the channel to pick up the TV signal. If you keep it on one channel, you will have to change the channel and change it back to get your station when you first turn on the TV. I am going to send it back again to see if the third time is a charm. I did want to let people know that for the $200+ spend, I was not happy with my purchase.

Reviewed on 2008-02-08 GPX KCLD8887DT 8.1" UNDER COUNTER LCD TV Gpx Tv DVD Under-counter The concept is great because there are other manufacturers (audiovox etc.) but the ones I have seen don't have digital Tuners. This model does, however it doesn't appear to be that well made. I hope it lasts a while. the remote control is flimsy and doesn't function all that well. The lcd display ( showing time and radio information) is visible only if viewed at eye level and directly on. The information fades out when viewed with the unit up high (about 6'-0") whch is the way we have to mount it. I like the idea of an integrated DVD player as well as AM/FM radio and they work well but again viewing related information on the LCD display is a real bumer.

Reviewed on 2008-01-29 xmas present cheap junk I bought one just like this one only without dvd player for xmas for my husband last year 2006. Paid under $150. It was an impulse buy. I didn't research it first, or look elsewhere for one. It was the one and only one I saw at the time. Don't waste your money. It is the biggest piece of junk (didn't last six months) before it started falling apart.The power (on off) button came apart first and is inside the case of the tv so you can only turn it on and off with remote and sometimes that doesn't work either. Sometimes it will power on but just have a black screen but the radio will work if you want to listen to it. Picture (when you have one) is so-so I'd rate it a 2. Sound I'd rate a 2 but I wouldn't rate the rest of it a 1. Other people have had similar problems and left reviews so its not just a one time problem. I won't buy this brand or from this company again.
