Reviewed on 2008-07-03 Do Not Buy This! My son took a chance on this even though I warned him about the negative reviews. He said since I was not buying it used he may have better luck with a new one. WRONG! He said it started out fine, and he even followed the directions but after the second day when he turned on his SP, it would not work anymore. He said the Gameshark broke his SP and he wanted his money back but on his receipt it said NO RETURNS. His hard earned money went down the drain. One thing for sure, you do not get what you pay for! DO NOT BUY THIS! DO NOT TAKE THE CHANCE ON RUINING YOUR SP! THIS IS A PIECE OF GARBAGE!

Reviewed on 2008-05-23 Use it before you lose it I got this product brand new and, I thought that I had a cheat system that would help me pass those hard to beat gba games. It did help me through a few games and, then one day it happened. I inserted the game into the gameshark just as I did before and, I put the gameshark into the gba just as I did before but, when I turned on the gba...nothing happened. I took out the gameshark and, tried it a few more times and still the gameshark would not work. I even called madcatz about this problem and, they said the problem was if the pins are not correctly aligned it will stop working. They even told me in order to replace the product, I would need to send them the receipt as proof of purchase and, it has to be within the time of the store warranty. My receipt was only 3 days past the warranty expiration date so, they said I would have to buy a new gameshark. I was able to fix the one pin that was off but, it still did not work. I also have a gameshark for the playstation 1 and this item was from a different company and, it still works today with no problems. This item is garbage and trust me when I say you would be better off to keep looking for a different gba cheat system. I was very disappointed with this product and, I refuse to buy a second gameshark because this product is a big waste of money. Plus, in reaction to the 10 code limit that was said FYI everytime I only used 3 or 4 codes before, it all of a sudden died on me. The two stars are for the time it actually worked.

Reviewed on 2008-04-24 This Best of the Best I bought this game shark for my pokemon games and this thing is just amazing! Just great, awesome. I love it, mine worked prefectly and I got all I needed.

Reviewed on 2008-03-17 Sometimes works and sometimes does not You just have to understand how to use the product cause in some games it will not fully work like Kingdom Hearts Chain of memories but other games easy as cake like the Sonic advance series of games but the input method is kind of horrid sense you have to do it manually now that the software will not link to the website proper it's a give and take with these type of devices if the input method for the cheat codes was more easy i would have given it a better score but over all still a worth while buy for people who still play GBA games

Reviewed on 2008-03-08 Died after the first usage I am shure that the idea of the product is great. But the quality of the connector ? It died after the first usage for me. After i inserted the second game, one connector bend. I tried to fix it, After fixing i inserted the cartridge again. The second connector bend. after playing that game a while, the device stopped working complete. Dead after 1 hour and 1 successful cheat. That's not what i was looking for.
