The best part is that it will convert PDFs to OCR WITHOUT CHANGING THE FORMAT - so what you see in the PDF is what you get after the conversion, not a muddled mess. This includes graphics, photos, legal pleadings, etc. You do have to go through and double check for typos - but the conversion rate is about 98%. I am not aware of any other program that will do the conversion as well. Well worth the money if you do PDF conversions. And if you just want to convert documents to PDF, without all the other bells and whistles that Adobe gives you, it is very functional for that too.
Reviewed on 2007-06-01Absolutely essential tool This is one of the most essential tools in my arsenal. It accurately converts PDFs to Excel spreadsheets, or Word documents - leaving me in complete control to force treatment of parts of the document as graphics.
In converting files to PDFs it is a most efficient converter - Other previously used print to PDF programs would give me files 4 to 10 times as large as this program does. It is a great program.
