Reviewed on 2008-04-28 Poor quality parts If you look at the product packaging, you are not likely to see that it's licensed by Nintendo -- maybe it is but there sure is no sign of it. And that should be your first warning about this "kit". Examine the individual components and you'll find poor quality parts. The screen protectors don't fit correctly and are too rigid to function without interfering with the view on-screen (protectors for most PDAs are soft plastic, not rigid); the finger pointers have sharp edges and are sized for smaller children -- too small for a teen or adult; the screen wipe pad has rigid plastic hanging over the soft surface such that when using it, the rigid plastic will scratch up against your precious DS lenses. The travel case won't easily accommodate a DS with its own protective case around it (though it seems much better constructed that everything else inside). The earbuds sound quality are questionable, especially for developing (younger children's) ears (though what head phones are safe). And without assurance that it's Nintendo licensed, I choose not to use the auto-DC power adapter and stylus/finger stylus for fear of harm to my DS. Regardless of license or not, this is not worth the money nor the risk of damage to your DS.

I like the kit....it has every thing i need...it holds alot of games and thats why i bought it...it also came with some cool accessories like...the two finger styluses and the ear buds and the screen protectors and cleaner....i know some people said it smelled bad but mine didnt i can only smell it if i like stick my nose in it....so ya i like it

Reviewed on 2008-01-08 Great combination set I read a lot of reviews on this product before buying and decided to try it anyway. I'm glad I did. What a great collection of accessories and a reasonable price. There was no smell to my case at all as many warned me of. I would reccommend this case for anyone who is just getting started with DS and needs all the accessories and wants to keep everything in 1 spot.
