Reviewed on 2008-05-10 Good product Good product, easy to set up and use. Would be perfect if it had an auto-reverse and could tell the computer to automatically stop recording at the end of a tape so you could do unattended recording, but it serves the purpose it was intended for quite well. JWZ

Reviewed on 2008-05-05 ION converter cassette to DVD This product did not seem to work as well as I had hoped. Maybe I am too technically challenged. After converting the cassette, I could hear doors closing in the background and people talking.

Reviewed on 2008-04-26 Quick Return! This gadget was completely unusable. The directions were difficult to decipher and follow, and when the device was finally plugged in correctly it made a horrendous electronic noise rather than performing the function for which it was purchased.

Reviewed on 2008-04-16 Makes archiving cassette tapes easy I purchased this tape deck after having problems with my old Pioneer tape deck. I am using a Dell laptop computer with Windows Vista Home Premium. The machine and software was easy to set up, and has worked perfectly on the 10 tapes I have converted so far. The software is very basic, but it gets the job done. Being able to split the tracks on the fly is a real plus. I use Cool Edit 2000 to edit the results. They take very little editing, mostly trimming the start and end points. Sound is great. I recommend this product to anyone wanting to archive old cassette tapes.
