Reviewed on 2008-07-13PS2 Wireless Controller I purchased this device used as it was in excellent shape when I received it. I was a bit skeptical at first but It works excellent with my games! I had to place it in the 1st. slot when used solo. Plug and play! It worked perfect, auto mapped my custom settings and excellent signal reception!
I am an adult male and my job requires frequent travel. The PS2 goes with me and the controller helps keep the wire mess down. Highly recommended!
Reviewed on 2008-06-28Dissapointing The fact that its wireless is great, but unfortunately the diagonal direction buttons on the d-pad do not work. Therefore if you're playing a game like Street Fighter which I had intended it for it is impossible to do a "hadoken." Very dissapointing.
Reviewed on 2008-05-22Not mad at all I have one of these in black. I thought I was ordering a silver one to go with my silver slim but when I got it and tried it I loved it. I didnt bother to return it for a silver one. I plan on buying two silver ones and keeping this black one for a back up. I also have a logitec wireless controller and prefer this to that. Actually my two year old son plays games along with me using the logitec (no batteries in it). wont be going back to logitec. This even has the PS2 logo on it LOL.
Reviewed on 2008-05-02A great controller! What a fantastic product. The silver controller matches the silver console and plays every bit as well as its competitors. The product arrived quickly and functions as advertised. If you're looking for a wireless PS2 controller, this is really the only choice.
Reviewed on 2008-03-26Great Improvement over "standard" controller I bought a pair of these for the obvious advantage: no wire. I was pleasantly surprised by the other improvements that I discovered.
The analog control sticks don't have the rubber grips on them. This was an added surprise because the fact that drove me to buy new controllers in the first place was that these grips had worn off and it was annoying. The control sticks are solid plastic with a texture to aid grip.
The buttons seem sturdier. Yes, I am a button masher. I have stuck more than one "triangle" key in my day. The directional buttons and the other buttons are much resilient and durable that the "standard" controllers. Another welcome surprise.
If you're looking for a comparable controller to the stock ones that come with the PS2, this is definitely worth a look.
Now you have an easy way to maximize your voice power at your next party... or even home alone in front of a mirror. Just hook up Logitech's USB Microphone to your PlayStation 2, start up a karao...
