Hours of fun!

This is tooooo...much fun!!!!!
This game is a hoot! It is like the other Karaoke Revolution video games, BUT this one has the judges from The Idol. Be prepared, the judges can be really, really harsh, even in your own livingroom, something we weren't quite prepared for. It is a great intergenerational activity. Almost all of the songs were familiar to everyone in our group, with the exception of my 11 year old granddaughter. But she will be knocking the judges dead in no time! | | Reviewed on 2008-05-09
"If I'm being honest...."
In the words of Simon Cowell, "If I'm being honest..." I'd say that this is "brilliant"! We are having so much fun with this. I bought it for my daughter's 11th b'day. We already had SingStar karaoke which came with 2 microphones, and the original American Idol game, but we didn't know when we bought it that you needed a seperate microphone for it. We thought that we could use the microphones from our SingStar karaoke, so we were very disappointed that we couldn't play. It seems like we've been waiting for ages to use it, and now we are just having the best time! My 9 year old loves it too, and I love that they're having fun, while READING the lyrics at a pretty fast pace. It's secretly helping them while they're having fun! We used this for my daughter's 11th b'day party since it was a karaoke theme, and it was perfect! No need to hire an entertainer, this was more entertainment than we even had time for and everyone had fun! I like the option for just 'karaoke' too. That way if anyone is too sensitive for the judging, that can be quite harsh sometimes, they can just sing along without the fear of judgement. Loads of fun for my daughter
I bought this game as gift for my teenage daughter. She absolutely loves it. She played it almost constantly for the first two days after receiving it. It has a pretty good selection of current songs and the Idol theme is very entertaining. I highly recommend it. | |
