Great Device, though no power button?
Not sure why this review asked me "How much fun is this game?" as it's obviously not a game. I bought this to connect my PS3 with my Logitech remote (ironically the xbox model). I never use the remote, just the IR dongle. Everything maps how I want it, the only thing missing is the ability to turn it on and off. I have no idea why this is, but knew about it going into it. |

Works Perfect!
I needed a solution that I could use with my AV system.. Since Sony in their infinite wisdom decided to do something different with their remotes this time, this device works perfectly. I simply plugged the USB device into the PS3, learned the ir codes into my universal remote and now I can control the PS3 movies with my universal remote. |

PS3 IR remote works great
The Nyko PS3 Blu-Wave IR remote provides a very low cost way to be able control the Blu-ray Disc and DVD playback functions of a PS3 using a IR remote (either the one included in the Blu-Wave package or a universal remote). Included in the package is a IR receiver that plugs into one of the PS3's USB ports plus a small IR remote control. I'm using a Harmony universal remote for the rest of my audio/video equipment and with the addition of the Blu-Wave IR receiver (i.e., plugged into one of the PS2's USB ports) I can now control the PS3 via my Harmony remote. |

GREAT WORK AROUND FOR A UNIVERSAL REMOTE
Works as advertised. All PS3 remote control commands work on my Harmony 880 except the PS button, which is not the fault of this product. Easy to program; codes are in the Harmony database. All of this has been stated in other reviews so I won't repeat again. This product is a $15 workaround that allows you to use a universal IR remote with the PS3. The IR dongle is what you're paying for. I never even looked at the remote. If you really need a remote for the PS3, you might as well buy the Sony PS3 remote. |

Great little remote
This remote id PERFECT for controlling the Blu-ray player on the PlayStation. Too bad it doesn't have a Power Button. The Infrared Dongle is the best part, (lets you use other infrared remotes that cost FAR less than BlueTooth!) Worth every penny. |
