May need modification
This product worked great for the first couple of months I had it. I dropped it, stuffed it in my purse near my car keys, and nary a scratch. However, I use the battery/USB slots a lot, and neither has an opening where you can access them, so I would take the whole cover off every time I wanted to re-charge my battery or upload pictures. By month 3 of this abuse, it completely tore in half. So if you don't use the camera often and don't need to re-charge a lot, or if you're willing to modify the silicone case to your needs, go for it. I'm considering getting another one myself, but will definitely take an Exacto knife to it this time around. |  | Reviewed on 2008-05-22

Product is fine, fits perfectly and securely on the camera. My only question is why the manufacturer does not make available one with no color, (which is really what I wanted) as opposed to only blue and pink, the only color tones offered. Inexpensive protection
Great skin to protect my camera from bumps and minor drops. Rotating the mode dial is a little difficult but okay. Easily removed for a card or battery change. I cut off where the power button part of the mold is. Trust me, these cameras fail because the power button is accidently pressed because of the design. Your lens will strip the gears and break if this happens inside a carry case. The skin power dimple button will make this senaro a greater risk--cut if off. | | Reviewed on 2007-11-21
Quality Item
After spending a total of nearly 400.00 on this slim pack of an item, I had no qualms of spending another 20.00 on something that protects it from being scratched, has a gripping surface, and gives it a thick pad in case it is dropped. My other one may still be useable if it had such a cover
I was hesitant to buy it since I read a review that said it tore when he put it on. Mine did not. I was gentle with it,thinking that it might. It was easy to put on. Taking it on and off is not a problem.
People have complained about the cover over the dial. I used a sharp pair of scissors or exacto knife to make adjustments. Just go slow and do a careful job. I highly recommend it. | | Reviewed on 2007-08-23
