Jack Black is at his comic best as Ignacio, a disrespected cook at a Mexican monastery that can barely afford to feed the orphans who live there. Reviewed on 2008-07-16 Be afraid, be very afraid This has to be the worst movie I have seen in several years. Please do not see this movie. My brother even warned me he wasted 2 hours of his life on this movie, but I thought, I sometimes like stupid movies. But this movie is too stupid. It will provide a few chuckles, but overall you will be sorry you watched it. I turned it off after an hour. I couldn't see anyway it could redeem itself from there.

Reviewed on 2008-06-28 One Of My Favoriots I like this movie alot! Napoleon Dynamite was hyped up alot as well, the best part of that movie was Uncle Rico I thought including the dance sequence. I never saw the movie ads for this movie but its definetly one of my favoriots. It is made by Nicolodeon (sorry I mistyped it) so I think it has kids more in mind so Jack Black is toned down a bit. I loved it I watch it all the time... If you dont buy it, atleast rent it first. :)

Reviewed on 2008-06-15 One Great Comedy... I have heard that this movie is considered one of the 100 great comedies of all time. I agree! You get a great story about a Catholic priest in Mexico who decides to become a wrestler to help his church. It is a touching story and would be great for kids, and anyone who might be interested in Mexican culture, esp their idea of wrestling.

Reviewed on 2008-05-26 Either you love it or you hate it. This is one of those movies where there's no in between (kinda like the Three Stooges). If you liked Napoleon Dynamite, then you'll like this as well. If you hated, or never heard of Napoleon Dynamite, then skip this. Me, I'm a Stooges fan, love puppies, but not kittens. Use the previous sentence to help determine whether you should purchase this movie or not.

Reviewed on 2008-05-21 NACHOoooooooo! This is a hiliarious movie. Jack Black can be annoying in some of his other movies, but in this one he is awesome, along with all the other actors.
