Great but a major flaw
If you are buying this as an alarm clock, stop now. This thing will blow your ears out before you even wake up. It's gentle wake takes literally two seconds to go from barely audible to absurdly loud. I have woken up just before the alarm goes off to experience this phenomenon.
That being said if you are looking for a clock attached to an iPod dock, you can't do better for this price. I have the Bose dock as well and though I am no music buff I can literally hear no difference. It's got great sound for such a little dock and can get very loud without distorting. Its really not perfect but I would suggest it. |

Major Alarm Flaw
This radio looks good and sounds good, but for use as an alarm clock sucks. The "gentle wake" feature must be for people with no patience as it goes from quiet to jet engine loud in about 2 seconds. And first thing in the morning you think it will stop getting louder, but just as you think it's at maximum level, it goes up 2 more levels. It would be perfect if the wake up level could be adjusted. But it can't. Bummer dude. |

Great sound for a clock radio!
Although I don't have this specific model (I have the DC310/37. Same product but has no remote control... who really needs one for a clock radio anyway?) This little unit rocks! I have been very cautious looking for an iPod clock radio due to the fact that many of them are WAY over priced and don't put out the quality of sound you should expect when using a digital music player. This one is very reasonably priced and has great sound for such a compact unit. The sound it puts out is much better than you would expect. I was thoroughly impressed! The unit is very cool looking also... a far cry from all the other "boxy-looking" iPod clock radios on the market today. If you're looking for a stylish clock radio for your iPod (at a price that won't empty your wallet) that sounds great too, you should definitely check this one out! |

Love it!
This is the best sounding ipod dock for its size that I've ever heard and you can't beat the price. I use it all the time, and the remote works great.
I would recommend it to everyone looking for something like this. |
