Reviewed on 2008-07-25 Great if it does not need to be reset once a week This is a great product that works well for me. My regular line is vonage and I needed a second line for buisiness and Skype works well for that. The only issue is that I have had to reset the unit about once per week. I hope this resolves itself or a firmware update does.

Reviewed on 2008-07-17 Owner over a year I own this product and loved it up to the moment it stop communicating with the internet. I am a computer networker, so I know my way around computers and gear of the sort. When I first got my GE Skype phone, I loved it. Stores Skype numbers, has cid / cwcid, cordless, doesn't require a pc to run, and allows you to intergrate you're other home phones. About a yr and a month out of the warrenty the thing stops working. I've troubleshooted the product at both home and work, and it still does not work properly anymore. I'm hoping this is just a random thing for it to stop commmicating with my router (perhaps I had a surge into my home, but I would be hard press to wonder how it affected my skype gateway only), so I'm going to take another leap of faith and buy another set. Atleast this way, I'll have two handsets ..... or two pieces of gear that doesn't work. I hope the first is correct.

Reviewed on 2008-06-19 Excellent service the service from this company was exceptional, ordering was no problem with amazon and shipping was excellent it got there like 4days before estimated shipping arrival using expedited shipping. about the product...i love it, it allows my aunt who is not computer friendly to make calls to her relatives and friends whenever she wants wherever in the house. i would recommend to anyone to buy this product and secondarily to conduct business with this company.

Reviewed on 2008-06-14 Skype Phone Works well and as others including cnet have noted the construction seems a tad cheap. Overall I would have to say I'm happy. Just wish it cost a bit less.

Reviewed on 2008-06-05 Very Good Phone We jumped on the Skype Boat and bought three of these phones. One for business, for home, and one for family in Brazil. We use SkypeIn so these phones are not just for Skype Calls. Call Quality is A+. Reliability A- (3 Things: 1) On rare occasions the phones will become erratic and blank out any number you're trying to enter to call. 2) Range is slightly less than standard cordless. 3) Rare occasion of dropped call--more likely skype than the phone). Phone Features: A. We have had the phones for over a month now. We're extremely pleased with the quality of the phone and Skype service. Phones are durable, do not get hot when used for long durations, have a nice look and feel, light-weight but sturdy, nice color screen/user-interface, comfortable to use. Our primary complaint on the phone is the inability to set the Ring Duration for Voice Mail. Phones ring 15 sec's (tops) and hit voicemail fast. We haven't used the land-line feature.
