I Didn't Get It
I ordered two of these, but received two Sandisk Ultra II 1.0 GB SD cards and two SanDisk MicroMate USB readers instead. I was not asked if the substitution was acceptable or not. |  | Reviewed on 2008-05-09
Works great!
I was a bit skeptical on how well this would work, but I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm now telling everyone how these are the most wonderful thing on earth. Works exactly like a normal memory card in the camera, works exactly like a flash drive on the computer. It's not flimsy or anything. Took me a few minutes the first time I used it to figure out how to open and close it just right... but that's about it. Works great! | | Reviewed on 2008-04-26
Emergency Backup!
I am a newspaper reporter/photographer. I download my photo's using a card reader. There was one occasion when I forgot to put my SD card back in my camera after downloading. I went to a photoshoot and could not do the photo because my SD card was back at the office. This won't happen again since I now have this marvelous "travel with me" backup SD card on my key chain. I could not be more pleased! What a wonderful product and the insurance it provides by being "always there" removes one more stress (did I put the SD card back in my camera?)of daily work life. innovative design
works great. if you have a smartphone that takes an SD card, get one of these. You'll never need a card reader again. I keep my resume and other important documents on it and leave it in my Treo. if I ever need print one of those documents, I can just pop the card out of the phone, fold it in half and use the USB port on a computer to access the files. And the transfer rates are great to boot.
I've had mine for 2 years, with constant use (it's in my smartphone) in SD mode, and pretty frequent accessing of the USB mode (folding the card in half), without any problems. I was worried it'd break with frequent folding. It hasn't. | | Reviewed on 2008-02-27
Handy Memory Card
Great SD card, with USB plug included. Can use with any computer, with out card reader.
Just don't let anyone touch it, my 2nd one had the read/write slider break after my nephew opened it and checked it out.
