SimpleTech 250G USB drive
This probably works well if it's what you have in mind. It wasn't what I wanted, though. I wanted a USB drive that would automatically back up individual files from my hard drive. This does a system restore type backup so you can restore your operating system. Great HD but NOT PORTABLE!!!!!!
This is a great external hard drive but its NOT portable. Thats sad cuz I wanted one that was srtictly portable. I could have bought a bigger hard drive for the same price but I thought it was external.

NOT a FIREWIRE Drive!
I purchased this item believing it had USB 2 AND Firewire connections, only to find it ONLY has USB 2. Documents inside the box state that only the 'deluxe' model has Firewire.
Not too big a deal, but I would have preferred Firewire. Other than that, though, the drive is fine - nice and quiet, solid build, an on/off switch (something my 320GB Maxtor USB drive lacks), and looks nice to boot. | |
