Champions: Return to Arms brings back all the action-packed hack n' slash excitement of Champions of Norrath and more to the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system! The CoN sequel offers more than 100 hours of gameplay per character, unlimited battles, plus the ability to import characters from the original game. Champions: Return to Arms includes a host of advancements to take multiplayer gaming to the next level. Up to four players can connect over the Internet or via Multitap. Play online (no subscription fee) Four-player online action with USB headset support, enabling you to chat and plan strategies, or you can ruffle your opponents with the improved online matchmaking service Player vs. Player Combat Modes (i.e. head-to-head) let you challenge friends to duel and compete online and offline in all new areas Secret content that is unlocked by mastering your skills through a challenging medal reward system 40+ levels to conquer with new mission menu and side-quest systems Ability to import your character from the original Champions of Norrath for further progression Broadband internet connection required for online multiplayer game modes. Online connection fees are the responsibility of the user and will require a network adaptor for PlayStation2. A Memory Card (8MB) (for Playstation2) is required for online play

Reviewed on 2008-06-09 play again and again! If you like Balder's Gate and Champions of Norrath, then you'll love this game. The best two-player game out there. We played again and again with different characters. I just wish there was a sequal to this one...

Reviewed on 2008-05-03 Great addition I have been really happy with this game. The new weapons are cool and a nice addition. Most classes get a new spell or two. I don't really care for the two new character classes, but I am sure they have their good points. I really like the option of going through the game on the side of good or evil - it gives the game a little better replay value (I would replay it anyway). Bonus games are a nice touch too. When you beat the bonus levels/bosses the game usually gives some sort of upgrade to your characters stats.

Reviewed on 2008-03-28 Champions Return to Arms I am a mom who bought this for my 16 years old boy. He realy likes it except for the women that dress disrespectfuly, but he likes the game and doesn't have to deal to much with the women part.

Reviewed on 2008-03-07 Champions is a Winner! My husband and I are playing this game now and truly enjoying it. He loves the option of customizing how his character looks and I like the option of deciding whether to be good or evil! This sequel is almost identical in gameplay as the first but I love this series so I don't mind. The new things to do in the game include extra bonus boards when you finish the main missions. The bonus missions can be harder than the original missions but the challenge keeps you trying over and over again. This game also has high replay value as you have so many characters to choose from and have to decide which side to fight on. We cannot get enough of this series and I only wish Snowblind would develop many more games like the Champion of Norrath series.
