Customer ReviewsReviewed on 2008-07-20 great service and framing gun i received my Bostitch gun within the time frame promised and the gun is great.. | | Reviewed on 2008-05-16 lightest and most powerful I have used almost every brand and type of framing nailer over the span of 20 years. this nailer is as close to perfection as i have seen. i was afraid it may have poor durability because of it's extreme light weight, but over the last 2 years, a million+ nails, and a few nasty falls it has crushed all my fears. I can't remember one jamb, sinks nails in lvl and other lam mat. better than any other gun i've used, and i think at this point it's takenthe durability prize. my only complaint would be the smart trigger acts goofy at times since day one. maybe by now bostitch has smartend up the goofy thing. i think i bought the first one they sold. i noticed one reviewer said nails are hard to find for this gun, "special order" i think he said. maybe out west (WA?) where he is, but around here (PA) 28 wire is the standard. They are everywhere. i've even bought them at a back woods mom and pop hardware store. | | Reviewed on 2008-04-03 Great Really like this product. Haven't had any problems with it. It can take paper collated nails to, which is quite handy. My boss has a similar Bostitch gun and he has had that for about 15 years. | | Reviewed on 2008-03-31 industry standard This gun is the industry standard framing gun in my opinion.
The nails are readilly available in a wide variety of sizes and finishes. I run this gun off a small bostich (pancake) compressor for low duty jobs. For rapid fire nailing I need to use a larger compressor.
Will last you forever if you oil it every day. I have seen guns with leaky o-rings but this is caused by letting them dry out. Also, be sure to unplug the air line at the end of the day especially if freezing temps are expected at the site (or in your truck) overnight. | | Reviewed on 2008-01-07 Works right out of the box! Excellent! This product works right out of the box. Light-weight, excellent power. Might need a future re-design of the "smart trigger," but on the whole a very good nailer. | |
