The Converge A/V 4 Port VGA over Cat5 Video and Audio Line Splitter / Repeater extends audio/video signals to four additional receivers connected to a 4 port. The video signal is sent to remote monitors over standard 4-pair Category 5 UTP cable using RJ45 connectors and supports distances of up to 300m / 950ft. At each remote monitor, a receiver is required to convert the signal from the CAT5 cable back into video and audio for the display.
The STUTPEA4X is the 4-Port Line Splitter utilized by our STUTPEA VGA and Audio over Cat 5 extension series. This convenient video distribution system simplifies implementing digital signage solutions by allowing a single VGA source and corresponding audio to be broadcast to multiple displays at up to 300m (950ft) away. Comprised of a 4 port VGA & Audio extender unit (ST124UTPEA) or an 8 port VGA & Audio extender unit (ST128UTPEA) and one STUTPEALR Receiver Unit per display as necessary, the VGA and Audio extension series can transmit a single VGA output and corresponding audio to four or eight displays/receivers over standard Cat 5 UTP cable. To add versatility, this VGA & Audio over Cat 5 Line Splitter can be used to multiply the number of potential displays by four, allowing the VGA signal and accompanying audio to be broadcast to up to 16 or 32 VGA displays.
