Reviewed on 2008-07-03 Norton is the BEST! I have used other anti-virus in the past and they all gave me trouble/headaches. Once, I started using Norton all my issues went away. In addition, the ease of using their software couldn't be better. I wouldn't trade it for anything when it comes to protecting my computer. Reviewed on 2008-06-27 Best known but not best for use I bought this based on the widespread brand awareness and assumption that the well-known brand meant it was a good product. The user menus lack intuitiveness and it's hard to guess how to change settings, etc. Additionally, it slowed down my PC significantly.

Reviewed on 2008-06-26 They want you to pay $99 more to remove a virus I have been buying norton for many years and had no problems. However, a month ago it did not catch a virus. I kept running scans and they all came back good. I called the customer service number. No one could speak english. It almost sounded like a recording. They acted like they were going to fix the problem. Then the rep gave me a different number to call. I called this number and they wanted $99 more to get the virus off my computer. I told them I already paid for the software, and I thought the purpose of having it to take care of viruses. The kept repeating the same thing over and over....hmmm... and wanted $99. I told them no I don't have $99 for you....then..... 20 minutes later...they call me back asking again for $99. I will never purchase this product again.

Reviewed on 2008-06-23 No Problems as Yet Had the latest Norton professionally installed by our commercial computer service with extra care to erase all remnants of its predecessor. No problems have emerged after one month of activity.
