Reviewed on 2008-04-04TEAC W-600R Dual Full-Logic Nice clear sound with the Dolby NR. Good unit for the price, but I'm dissapointed that such a nice unit doesn't have a headphone jack! Also if you are trying to track start and stop points on your tape by the counter you are out of luck. When you go back and try to find that position on the tape a different number is displayed each time.
Reviewed on 2008-03-15Review at your request It's a nice player at a good price. Everything works perfect. The display and controls are all logical and easy to read.
The box in came in looked like it had taken quite a beating during shipping and I was leery to accept it. Once opened, the unit didn't have a scratch on it and works perfect.
The only thing I can say that is not good is that it does not have a place to plug in a microphone as most cassette player/recorders have. Other than that I would highly recommend this product.

My plan was to buy a single cassette recorder/player but the price was attractive enough to make me change my mind and purchase the double cassette. I am very pleased with this product, in fact I have no regrets.
Reviewed on 2008-01-22Good basic unit for the price. Good basic unit for my intended use, which is transferring audio tapes to my computer for conversion to cd.
Reviewed on 2007-12-28TEAC W-600R Cassette Purchased as a gift. If you think that a component cassette deck is contemporary technology then think again. Finding a cassette deck is an effort in itself. Finding one that is somewhat decent at less than $100 a minor miracle during the holiday season. This TEAC W-600R however not only does the trick but is easy for even the aged the handle (this is not "agism" as the gift was for my 83 year old father so it is said as a point of fact!). My only concern is that the doors are not automatic but are "push-touch" mechanisms but still do the trick. Worth the purchase if you are still a collector of cassette's as finding a suitable "back-up" is truly challenging in our MP3 age of technology. Where have the good times gone?!
