Customer ReviewsReviewed on 2008-07-01 Excellent Range and voice Quality I have had my Tekkeon for over three years now and no major problems. Despite leaving it in the sun on my cars dash and melting the case, button, and behind the ear piece, it still works great. I can charge my phone in the upstairs bedroom and still talk on the bluetooth in the far downstairs family room. It is not good at all with noise reduction for example if I am outside without a breeze it sometimes picks up the air moving past as I walk. I usually use it when I am on the computer or doing shores around the house or working on the car so I do not need to have any noise reduction capability. It has a really high volume, which I like and frequently have to turn down. It is a good inexpensive headset that does its job well being voice quality, range, and durability. | | Reviewed on 2007-10-10 Great Product with Awesome Service We've had a pair of this for almost a year, and it's been serving us well. When used in the car, no one can tell if we're actually using the cell phone or this headset. When the ear hook broke, they sent us a replacement for free! (Thanks Chris!) Tekkeon replied to both of my emails within 7 minutes. Awesome service! | | Reviewed on 2007-05-25 Very small, light, good sound, too fragile I was very happy with the sound quality and battery life of this headset, but I have broken 2 earpieces (the earpiece is poorly attached to the body), 2 earloops, and lost 3 "donuts" (the part that actually fits in the ear).
The company has been great about replacing the ones I break but I am beginning to wonder if I wouldn't be better off with a headset that's not quite so fragile. What do I do, you might be asking, to break so many headsets? Well, the first one broke in my pocket -- this headset is so small, I didn't know where to carry it. The second one broke on a lanyard - it got caught under the rim of a table (no lip, just the flat part of the table) and popped right off. The first earloop broke when I pulled the phone out of my jacket pocket and the second one broke when I pulled the phone off my ear.
So if you are extremely careful with things, have a safe place to keep it and value the size over durability, this is the product for you. Otherwise, keep shopping. | | Reviewed on 2007-04-06 ET2000 and seller credits The product and the seller are of the best quality possible and J&R Music and Computer World give fast service and are the most helpful/caring people I've had the pleasure of dealing with! Thank You | | Reviewed on 2007-01-27 Overall good, but could be better I have a treo 650 and was using the motorola HS820, but I had trouble being able to hear people, especially in my car on the highway. I switched to the ET2000 about a month ago and the volume is great! I even have to turn it down in some cases. My only complaint is that is picks up a ton of background noise for the other party. I could just put a dish in the sink and the person I am talking to says it sounds like im crashing dishes around. Forget about being in a store or outside with any kind of wind with this bt. The other party sounds like I'm in a hurricane. So when I talk to someone, I am very careful doing other things while talking to them so they can hear me. Overall a good bt though. | |
