Customer ReviewsReviewed on 2008-03-14 Great G router Easy to configure. Easy to manage. Consistent performer (I use it in a concrete/steel/brick multi-level setting. Only runs 108 when open, but WPA produces a solid 54mBps performance with the included MIMO. | | Reviewed on 2007-09-23 Pretty Good This router gives me great speed at 108MBs. and with the extended range i am happy with it. It is small and light, but the main picture on amazon is not what the router looks like, the real one actually looks better. I had a few setup problems, but in about 10 mins. i had it running. All in all, the router is great and the price is low too. I would recromend this to anyone and buy it again. | | Reviewed on 2007-07-26 Router Tech support stinks Set up router it did not work. Called support and was given a runaround. This is the worst company to get support. | | Reviewed on 2007-03-04 Works great so far. I've only had the router a week, but am happy with the performance. I've not been dropped yet and I've tested the signal from my basement two floors down.
Setup for 108Mbps is a bit fluky but I don't use that feature anyway. I primarily purchase for my work laptop. But i tried it with the TEW444UB adapter and it work solidly. | | Reviewed on 2007-01-15 a decent router, a decent price Let me first start by saying I'm not all that savvy when it comes to routers. I found this one easy to follow the operating instructions for...with a few idiosyncracies. First, my computer didn't work exactly as the instructions said it should. I had a hard time getting the computer to recognize the router. I searched for my problem online and found the same issue where someone essentially said "just try again", and I did, and it worked! Second, whenever I turn the router off or unplug it, I am required to boot up the base computer, plug the modem directly into the computer, open the internet, and then plug the cord back into the router in order for a satelite computer to get a signal. Very odd but it works every time. Like I said, I'm not that savvy about this sort of thing so there is probably an easy way to fix it but I don't know what it is.
Overall, I'd say it's a decent item. I live in a 850 sq ft condo and never have an issue getting a signal. | |
