Customer ReviewsReviewed on 2008-06-05 If only I could give it less than 1. I hate this product. It sucks big time. i cannot even begin to explain. All the things pple said and more. It drops your call all the time despite it is 5.8GHz. I haaaaaaaaaaatttttttttteeeeeeee this phone. I regret ever buying it. | | Reviewed on 2008-05-20 Uniden EXI5660 Like these phones, have five of them, never any reception problems and no interference with internet. No problems after a year of use, and haven't had to buy any batteries yet. | | Reviewed on 2008-04-20 If only we could use ZERO stars! We have NEVER owned a worse phone. Static, 20-30' range (if lucky), poor battery life and aweful technical support. I didn't expect much given the price, but this phone is terrible! When I called Uniden regarding the poor reception, they simply blamed it on our environment and the location in the house. Funny, we have used a Motorola 900MHz phone and Plantronics wireless headset (I beleive it using a frequency within the 400Mhz range) and we have never had any problems. We will not purchase any Uniden product again. | | Reviewed on 2008-03-23 Unlistenable sound quality I needed 2 cordless phones so I bought 2 of these on sale for $10 each. They are unusably bad- when you talk the sound of your voice comes back in the speaker at twice the volume of the person you are speaking to. There's no way to fix them. I had to throw them away; don't make the same mistake! | | Reviewed on 2008-03-13 Phone This product was disappointing for one main reason. If you are on the phone and another call is coming through, the caller ID won't register who the other call is (And I have the service!). There is no way of knowing whether you want to take the other call or not.
Also, if you are talking and holding the phone between your face and shoulder, as I often do b/c I have two small children and need both hands, you will easily hang up on the other person. Yes, I know the phone has the option to use a head set and carry the phone in a pocket or on the pants--but what if you're wearing a dress? And I really don't need to get tangled in wires with two little kids. | |
