Whistler XRT
Bought this for my husband for Christmas as his old one had died. Thought it would be a great unit, but when asking him, he had several complaints. Seems with our vehicle being cold when you get in, it takes awhile for the unit to "warm up" and turn on. When it goes off when passing something (radar, electronic doors, etc.), it takes a few minutes of it not working before the light comes back on (the "H" for highway, etc.). Not sure what causes this, but it's annoying, as, by then, we could have passed another police car with radar. We'll be contacting the company about this. | |
