Reviewed on 2007-12-27Worthless overhyped product I bought this for my daughter who is in the first grade to assist her with learning to read. I read a number of positive reviews. I now wonder if those reviews were plants by the manufacturer. The product does a very poor job of scanning and is difficult for an adult to use, much less a child. It comes with a devise you must attach to it in order to "practice" before it will effectively scan. The worse thing about it is the speaker, which is barely audible. Great concept but poor quality. Definitely not worth the price. If you buy one, be sure it is from a vendor that will allow returns.
