Hard Corps: Uprising is the 13th installment to the popular Contra series and actually serves as a prequel to the original 1987 title. Set in the year 2613, the player serves as a soldier in the ranks of the resistance against an empire known as the Commonwealth.
Hard Corps: Uprising was well received when it was released in 2011 and if you’re a fan of the series, picking this title up for free is a no-brainer. If you’re new to the series, this title is the perfect starting point chronologically speaking.
